My path is shaped by a constant dialogue between body, material, and memory. With a background that weaves together fashion, visual arts, and personal research, I develop projects where the creative gesture becomes a tool for introspection and storytelling.
Each work takes shape as a fragment of lived experience: an aesthetic gesture that speaks of silence, identity, and transformation.
Texture becomes an emotional surface, and the body turns into language. For me, fashion is a way to write invisible stories, to give form to what often escapes words.
This portfolio gathers intimate visions and tangible forms, born from observation, listening, and the urge to transform the invisible into presence. It is an invitation to enter a sensitive aesthetic, where every creation leaves a trace, delicate yet profound.

A B O U T M E
My name is Cristian Torchia, born in 2002. My creative vision arises from the intersection of body, material, and memory, elements that guide my design process as tools for introspection and visual storytelling.
In December 2024, I graduated in Fashion Design from IED Milano, presenting a final project that explores fashion as an emotional language and aesthetic gesture. During this journey, I collaborated with companies such as Mastrotto and Bluline, delving into the textile world and experimenting with materials that transform into narrative textures. My work unfolds through silhouettes that whisper, surfaces that evoke, and forms that give voice to what often remains invisible.
In recent years, I have enriched my professional experience by participating in fashion shows like IED Avant Défilé (June 2024) and LineaPelle (July 2024). I collaborated with Io Donna on a project exploring the dialogue between artificial intelligence and contemporary aesthetic imagination, and contributed to a proposal for Valentino Vintage, focusing on creative reuse and sustainability as both aesthetic and cultural values.
Parallel to this, I worked for two years as a freelance stylist and runway coordinator for Milan Fashion Tour, gaining firsthand insight into fashion show dynamics and backstage operations. During my Erasmus in Valencia, I deepened my visual approach to product as a Visual Merchandiser in a vintage concept store, honing my sensitivity to spatial storytelling and visual composition.
This portfolio gathers intimate visions and tangible forms, born from observation, listening, and a strong narrative drive. For me, fashion is a way to write invisible stories, leave subtle yet lasting traces, and create authentic connections through gesture and materia.
